One of the first things that I did when I began blogging was sign up for My Blog Log. Not only was it a way to network with other bloggers but the widget was a fun way to see who had dropped by your site recently. It makes a blog look like a happening place.
I never really signed out of my My Blog Log account so their recent partnership with Yahoo went largely unnoticed by me. Until yesterday. I tried to change my screenshot and the site logged me out. A little inconvenient but no big deal. But when I tried to sign back in I had to sign into my Yahoo account first. Again, a bit inconvenient but no big deal. But the sign in process wasn’t over. Now I needed to sign in to My Blog Log.
- I entered my email and password – ERROR.
- Ok then, email my password.
- Now enter your email address.
- Ok entered – ERROR – No record of this email
- Dead end.
Now I had just been signed in up until a half hour ago when I started this entire process.
Why make something that should be so simple, so difficult.
Thank goodness for BlogCatalog.
